Creative Therapy through play and the creative arts provides another method of expressing painful emotional experiences that one can not verbalise. It can also be utilized to build or set future goals through sand play, vision boards or collages both individually or group scenarios.

Bereavement & Creativity

Creativity allows the bereaved to connect with the lost of their loved one by connecting with various forms of art work. This proves to be much gentler and allows them to connect with something tactile so that they can cope better through the grieving process regardless of the medium used. Again this can be done on a one to one basis or in group work.

Creative Mindfulness

Mindfulness is another type of creativity that facilitates the client to connect on a deeper level with self, by slowing them selves down and by keeping it in the moment. In doing so it reduces stress and improves quality of life on all levels ,body ,mind and spirit. Mindfulness is also focusing on slowing down ones breath which is very beneficial to those who suffer from fatigue.
